At the Islamic School of Grand Rapids, we provide a nurturing environment where young learners, from kindergarten through 5th grade, can thrive and explore their potential. Our dedicated team of educators works to create memorable experiences that support both academic and personal growth.

The Facility
Our 12,000-square-foot school building features 15 spacious classrooms, a versatile multipurpose hall, play areas, and a staff lounge, all designed to support a dynamic learning environment. Situated on over 2 acres of land, the facility provides ample room for future growth, allowing us to expand and accommodate more classes as our community grows.

Academics
At ISGR, the common core standards are utilized for each core academic subject including English Language Arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Teachers have received training in standards based instruction and grading.
Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade take the Mstep in the spring.
